Wroclaw-City: New pier for Belarusian political prisoners and their families

The “Wrocław-city” shelter is a safe space where Belarusians released from prison can find home, protection and support for the first time after moving. This is an important step towards recovery and integration into a new society, and will provide hope for many people who have suffered from political repression in their country.

We've opened!

Opening a shelter in Wroclaw is not only an act of solidarity, but also a vital support for those who have gone through prisons and repression. In our house, refugees will not only receive accommodation, but also the help of volunteers in applying for legalisation, which will allow them to start a new life in a safe surroundings.

At the moment Wrocław-city needs help and support from the general public. For the successful functioning of the shelter, the help of volunteers, sponsors and media representatives is needed. If you are willing and able to support this project, there are several ways to do so:

  • Volunteers: If you are willing to share your time and skills to help those in need, please fill out the  Volunteer application form.
  • Sponsors: Your financial support will help provide basic needs for refugees, including food and school feeding bills. Funds can be transferred to a Shelter account:
